Hey, since webdiplomacy moved I cant find the latest code. Mine is pretty much out of date (0.9*) and i thought to upgrade during sommer. But the code disappeared. I read something about cvs or git... is there something online, anywhere?

the latest code I have is 1.00, but there is already a new version on webdiplomacy.net the 1.01.

Perhaps it'll be available soon, after the transition to the new dedicated server is done.
here there are all the available versions.

Yup my old scripts are set up for our shared hosting, I still need to update them for the dedicated hosting. For now here's the latest release manually: http://webdiplomacy.net/webDiplomacy-102.tgz

good to see new versions. :)

Kestats, if it's not difficult, could you also say what files are changed from one version to another, like here:

Quote:
The altered files in 1.01 were mute.js, objects/user.php, lib/html.php, global/definitions.php, game/gamepanel.php, profile.php, and locales//user.php, plus a couple of new tables, so you'll be able to get back in sync without issue if you avoid modifying those files (and you've got no reason to for the update you have in mind)

here is the list you gave of the changed files from the 1.00 to the 1.01. Is it complete?
Could you please write the same for the change from 1.01 to the 1.02 ?

I have almost all the pages translated, and if it's possible to know only the modified files it could save a lot of work.

Thanks.

A .tgz with only the new files since the last version would be nice too. Or a working cvs/git or similar.. :-)

Ill try and come up with something, hopefully look at finishing setting git up etc, but don't worry too much because 1.02 just adds donor icons and moves a couple of faq things, no major / breaking changes, so there's nothing worth rushing to get

now that version 1.03 is available, I'd like to follow from the 1.00 I have now.

My only problem is that I'd like to avoid retranslating everything again.

You writed the list of modified files from 1.00 to 1.01.
Could you also make the same kind of list for 1.01 -> 1.02 and 1.02 -> 1.03 ???

Please, please, please ??

With git you should now be able to get that data automatically Alex; see http://github.com/kestasjk/webDiplomacy

You submitted 1.02 first, so a small overview from 1.01->1.02 should help alex.

You can check out: http://webdiplomacy.net/install/ for a changelog for each incremental version. Won't be as much help for maintaining translations across versions, but it should give you an idea of what has changed
