Welcome to forum.webdiplomacy.net !

Please just make a post in this forum saying what you're here for (e.g. "Hi, here for help installing webDip" or "Hi, got a variant I'd like to show" or "Hi, just want to let you know about a bug I've found" etc etc).

Just post something here to show that you're not a spambot, and we'll add you to the confirmed users list in no time.

Thanks!
Kestas

Users which had more than 50 posts when this system kicked in are set as group leaders for the confirmed group. This means that if you want to help out you can add new users who look legit to the confirmed group yourself (I'll do it if no-one else does though; this is just to speed things up)

To confirm a new user click on "User Control Panel" in the top right corner:

Then click on "Manage Groups" on the left:

Then scroll down to the bottom and put the new users name into the text area:

Then click submit, and they'll be confirmed. After this post a message to their introduction thread, so that they know they've been confirmed, and so that no-one else goes to confirm them again after you have.

After clicking on "Manage groups" on the left I had to click on "Manage users" on the right and then I could scroll down to the bottom to add users.

Would you like any of us group leaders to go through the list of users with previous posts and remove the ones that were only used for spam?

That would be good Alderian, as long as they definitely were just for spam of course. Maybe wait until they come back to remove them, if it'd be too much effort?

Limiting posting to this group requires to check this sub-forum on a regular basis, but because it's just spambots posting here I tend to ignore this subforum completely.
Another good idea that I use for the wiki is to make a captcha that is related to the webdip-site.
I ask for the names of some variant-developers. Easy to solve for real people, but not for spambots.

Don't worry Sleepcap, I use the view new posts feature so won't miss anyone posting here. Also people using your wiki may know webDip related things, but some random web dev looking for some quick help might not

Welcome to the site rokakoma. If I followed the prompts correctly, you should be able to participate in the forums.

Hello.

I wanted to post in ideas/request, but it looks like I need to post here first. So I'm doing that.
