Really you should change the borders on the big map so they are the same, It takes a while but produces a much better looking map. I will be willing to help a little but don't have much time to spare at the moment.

He means that you should reduce the lines to 1 pixel wide, also fixing the names of the territories so that they are easier to read is a good idea as well.

Oh, my, it has been a long time...

Since my last, uh, 'event,' I've mostly been working on some Global Map scenarios. Two of my current ideas for a global setting are a Modern World and a World map set around the 2060's, with changes in globalization based off of predictions by George Friedman and Stratfor. Anyway, I have a map here and plenty of additional rules at the bottom. Obviously, I am not done with this map, and would appreciate any rational suggestions any of you have. Now...Since the map is too big, I have cut it into two files...I hope this isn't too difficult for you all...

In case you didn't notice, there are three types of Supply Centers. For the sake of sanity on VDip, just pretend like they're all just normal supply centers with nothing special about any of them. I'll explain most of the changes I need to make later, but for now, I'm just looking for comments on how I can improve gameplay and solve balance issues. It is a 19 player map, there are four 'Superpowers,' (USA, England, Russia, and China) who all start out with 12 Supply Centers. The other fifteen players each start with 7 SC's. It is my intent that small Islands should be able to be convoyed through, and for the transform feature to be available. Any natural or man-made canals should be treated as canals like Constantinople or Kiel in Classic. Denmark does not connect to any part of Sweden, and the Great Lakes are not navigable by fleet. The Arctic Circle is passable at all times. The game will start with a builds phase.

Three things:
1) Damn! :shock: I had to scroll to 33% Zoom just to see most of the map!
2) I think it should be build anywhere, otherwise Brazil can't put fleets in the Pacific without an extra set of rations and starting a potentially avoidable war.
3) Britain will OWN West Africa. They have no challenger.
