Hello everybody!

I'm trying to setup my own webdip on a local server, but like others in this forum I've stuck in the registration, too. The php.ini is modified for Cookies in order_request and there are no error logs. The site simply reload, but nothing happened.

My mailer_config:

Code:
public static $mailerConfig = array(
         "From"=> "tobi@casa-blu.de",
         /* The e-mail which mail is sent from. This should be a valid e-mail,
         or it may trip spam filters. */
         "FromName"=> "MyOwn",
         /* The name being mailed from. */
         "UseMail"=>false,
         /* Use the php mail() function. Either UseMail, UseSendmail or UseSMTP has to be TRUE,
            if you're using e-mail. */
         "UseSendmail"=>false,
         /* Use the sendmail binary, if this is false the variable below is ignored */
         "SendmailSettings"=> array(
               "Location"=>"/usr/sbin/sendmail"
               /* Location of the sendmail binary */
            ),
         "UseSMTP"=> true,
         /* Use SMTP, if this is FALSE the variable below is ignored. */
         "SMTPSettings"=> array(
               "Host"=>"post.strato.de",
               "Port"=>"25",
               "SMTPAuth"=>true,
               /* If this is FALSE the two variables below are ignored */
               "Username"=>"tobi@casa-blu.de",
               "Password"=>"my_password",
               /* Uncomment the line below to use SSL to connect (e.g. for gmail) */
               //, 'SMTPSecure'=>'ssl'
            ),
         "UseDebug" => false // If this is set to true mail will be output to the browser instead of sent, useful for debugging

Is there something wrong? What should I try next?

I had the exact same problem using XAMPP and stoped working on a step-by-step guide because of this issue.

I ended up adding the user directly in the database (using phpmyadmin).

I tried this and get a user. :)

How did you go on? How did you get the whole thing running?

That's it. No more to do.
You ran the gamemaster-script from the admin panel and done.

Unfortunately not. :(

If I run the gamemaster-script, I get this errror-message:

Error triggered: file_put_contents(cache/stats/onlineUsers.json) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied.

This was probably caused by a software bug. The details of this error have been successfully logged and will be attended to by a developer.

But something has to be wrong anyway. I can LogIn, but after logged on it says in the upper right corner: Welcome, Tobi - (Log on)
Instead of the NewGame-button there's still a registration-button. And still no users are registered ... :?:

Does the directory exists?
Usually the webserver needs write-access to the cache-directory.
Sometimes the permissions for the webdip-directory do now allow the creation of new directories.
You should check this.

What webserver/computer do you use?
