I have tried version 1.0, and the latest 1.04 of the game, and I am still receiving the error. I have no real idea why this is happening.

Any ideas?

Looks like a problem with your PHP install.
Your PHP -install is in "save-mode", you might google for "open_basedir restriction in effect" to get some hints how to disable this.

Hi.

Well I sent off a support ticket to my server provider asking if the server was in safe mode, and they told me no it wasn't so now I am trying to set the proper path in my .htaccess file, and that isn't even working.

This has to be a bug because I don't think I ever had a problem with it in the past when I first wanted to test it out (I am using the same server).

It only happens when I select variants. Even when setting up a game, and I press the variant I get this error which is beyond me. I am using the 1.04 version from Github.

I'm out of options here. Everything else seems to work okay such as setting up games. So it has to be the software.

If anyone has any ideas I'm open for suggestions. All I know is I can't have this posted for users on my website until this problem gets worked out.

Cheers.

Hi

Quick Request: Would anyone have a previous release of Variants.php which I can download?

At the moment I am using 1.04. I would like to try 1.02, or 1.03 if possible.

Thanks.

It's a problem of a bit sloppy programming and a very restrictive shared-webhoster.
Open the "/variants.php"-file in a test editor. Search for line 37.

replace:
Code:
if( file_exists($variantDir.'/variant.php') )
with
Code:
if( is_dir($variantDir) && file_exists($variantDir.'/variant.php') )
(And this fix should go in the "official code as well.)
